   I'm guessing here, but I think it means that there is a previous   
   version of Net running.  It means that Net didn't close properely and   
   its still running.  You may not see it but its there.  If you bring up   
   the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) you should see another Net still   
   running.  Close it, then restart Net and it should work.

   You can uninstall Netscape all you want and NOT delete all your   
   bookmarks.  Your bookmarks, settings, preferences, etc are stored in   
   an area called your profile.  When uninstalling Net, it will not touch   
   your profile.
