   A message is 'threaded' (accessible with the triangle in your   
   nomenclature) when it is in reply to a previous message.  I.e. this   
   message should be listed under your message, because its in the same thread.   
      
   A 'new' message, written not in reply, will show as a single entry   
      
   Your View menu can help you here. Ensure it is set to View-->Sort   
   By-->Threaded
