This       time, if you open your eyes you would have found out it says that Net       8 is BROWSER only.              > The windows for setting up e-mail accounts didn't ask for pop or smtp info,       > one window asked for URLs, but it wanted 3 and I don't know what the third       > would be. Create all the accounts etc in it.       Don't create any new folders. Now, close Netscape. Then go to the       area where you have all your emails backed up to and copy everything       over to the new mail accounts. You don't have to copy the msf files.        Becareful, especially if you've already downloaded messages during       the set up. Because when you transfer the accounts over, you already       have an inbox, draft, sent, etc, in the backup. So you may need to       rename those ones. Now, restart Netscape and all your mail accounts       should be picked up with no problems. NOTE: If you backed up to CD,       you may have to change the setting from Read Only.              Now, as to the newsgroups, you can try:              snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape7.windows       snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape7.macintosh       snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape7.unix              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
