   Another option would be Edit>>Preferences>>Privacy & Security>>Master   
   Passwords.  Select Every time it is needed.  Then you will have to enter   
   the Master Password every time Mozilla tries to put in a remembered   
   password.  The advantage to this is that you can store all your   
   passwords, then access them with the one Master Password, which you can   
   change periodically.   
      
   The disadvantage is that it could get really annoying.  If you are   
   concerned only about your mail passwords, gwtc's suggestion is the   
   superior one.
