   I'm presuming you're using the Mail program to register.  Don't.  If   
   you want to sign up for a Netscape Webmail, use the browser and   
   actually go to the sign up page.   
      
   Then when you use the Mail program, at the very end of filling out the   
   info, and when you get the message "server down", try clicking on   
   Cancel, not OK.   
      
   If you don't want the Netscape Webmail account, then don't register.   
   Just click cancel
