Let us       imagine you have created a simple one column, two cell table and have       set the size to 90% of the window.              If you then type text into the left hand cell, with the right hand cell       empty, the text will push the empty cell over, since there is nothing in       it. Have you tried typing text into the left other cell, to even it out?              In Nvu, I would place my insertion point in the table, and click the       Table button on the toolbar to get the Table Properties dialog.       Clicking the Cell tab, I can set the cell width to 50% of the table,       which would solve your issue.              Of course, Nvu, while it is based on Composer, has come a long way. I       can't swear to how it works in Composer.              Lee              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
