     Okay, okay.  DSL is slow compared to cable broadband.  At least for   
   the consumer-level packages.   
      
     Here in Milwaukee, the "standard" cable connection tops out at about   
   650K/s while DSL tops out at about 200K/s.  You can upgrade each   
   package, of course...but only the true speed-geeks would bother.
