   Theoretically,the limit would be the available space on your hard drive. ;)   
      
   Practically speaking though, the more you let it build up, the more   
   likely you are to experience slowness in the application's operation,   
   and possible corruption and data loss.   
      
   Its a good idea to archive old messages if you want to keep them, but   
   don't need to refer to them often.
