It 'broke' during the course of the morning after       working fine a few hours before.              I've run a systems diagnostic from Help/Support/Tools that said a driver       is failing (network adapter Realtek RT8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet       NIC) and so I deleted it and reinstalled from the CD that came with the       computer. It's still showing as Failed but the computer seems to be       using another driver now, that passes; Realtek RTL 8139/810 Family Fast       Ethernet NIC and that's the one that's shown as being the connection to       the net when I click on Network Connections.              Jane              --              http://www.janedavitt.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
