   No problem, its just confusing when different people are contributing on   
   soloving a problem in two different threads.  You start to get   
   conflicting advice that way.   
      
   I'm glad you have it working again to your satisfaction, so I guess this   
   one is closed.  I do feel constrained to point out though that this was   
   not an issue with Firefox.  Firefox cannot impact your Netscape   
   installation in any way.  From your description, it really sounds like   
   you inadvertently installed a Firefox extension into Netscape. That will   
   cause problems.   
      
   Your solution was probably more drastic then it needed to be, but in the   
   final analysis, its achieving the desired result that counts.  Good luck   
   with Netscape.
