   I really don't understand what you are talking about.   
      
   First of all, are you talking about Mail/News? Are you trying ta add a   
   new  account?   
      
   If so:   
      
   Edit>>Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings   
      
   At the bottom of the resulting dialog window, click the Add Account   
   button.  Follow the wizard to set up the new account. In this dialog,   
   you will input the username.   
      
   To input the password, you must check messages for the account.  You   
   will then be prompted for the password.   
      
   If this is not what you are asking about, could you please clarify?
