   With Netscape 7.2, sometimes when I read an Email sent to an AOL   
   account, if I click on the green dot (keep new) it won't stay new even   
   though it's within the age range (one week).  Several minutes later, I   
   get the tone "new mail" and that piece of mail gets moved into "old   
   mail" without my reading it.  This happens also when I click on the   
   "Keep as new" button at the top.   
      
   I haven't seen this with non-AOL accounts, but don't use them much.   
      
   Any ideas?
