From: sherwindu@comcast.net              I have noticed something with bookmarks in both versions of Netscape       (4.7 and 7.1) that I use. When bookmarking a web page from a search       page, the address saved is some horribly long address with the search       string tacked on. To clean this up, I have to edit the properties and       change the path to the direct path obtained from going back       to the search page, cutting and pasting the direct address. Also, the       name of the web       site bookmarked sometimes comes out ok, but usually it is bookmarked as       "Netscape       Search" which requires another cut and paste to restore the web page       title.              My question is whether there is a better way to save the more accurate       site name and       address with less intervening steps? I only want to bookmark sites       after actually viewing them, so I am forced to follow the route I'm       currently taking.               Sherwin D.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
