No, there is no size issue. 1) I have dsl; and 2) the sizes are always
   under 200k.

No, there are no error messages, they just don't go through, there are
blank spaces where the inline inserted images should be.

This has been happening with me from Netscape 4.7 through my current
7.0, I just figured it was a common problem that everyone has. You
mean this does not happen for everyone?

It would be nice to be able to insert images and have them come
through the way I insert them, with text underneath each photo, for
   example.

Try it for yourself. Send yourself a different jpg inserted within an
e-mail every day for a week and see if they all come through. I'm
betting most will and some won't. That has been my experience, and
the experience of at least a couple friends.

   Anyone know WHY?
