   You might be able to get it fixed by moving your bookmarks file (and its   
   backup file) to another location (while Mozilla is closed). Then you'd   
   start up Mozilla (which should cause it to create a new, empty bookmarks   
   file), and you'd add your bookmarks back by clicking on links in the old   
   bookmarks file.   
      
   Another idea is to move all bookmarks out of the toolbar folder and into   
   a new folder, set that folder to be the toolbar folder, and then delete   
   the old toolbar folder.
