   sorry to say, but thousands of people like opening new tabs.  Very   
   handy and it beats opening a new window all the time.   
      
   And ways, make sure that "open a new tab instead of a new window" is   
   unchecked, then when you click on a link, make sure you're holding   
   down the shift key, then click
