Perhaps the new AT&T did the same.              With smtpauth, your mail application must submit your password        for the e-mail to be sent. I'm using Seamonkey which is the        closest modern software there is to the old Netscape, and,       to send mail, I had to set my username and password in       Edit/Mail&Newsgroup Account Settings/Outgoing Server/Add...(or       Edit....)              Also read this:       http://help.sbcglobal.net/article.php?item=313              If you do decide to leave Netscape, Seamonkey is your best       bet. Although Seamonkey can probably import Netscape profiles        without crashing immediately, I advise against it. Rebuild       the profile.                     HTH              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
