Mozilla is the all in one suite approach, unlike Firefox/Thunderbird
   which are component approaches.

You might be interested in SeaMonkey then, which is the same Mozilla you
   are using now, updated.
When Mozilla.org decided to concentrate on the component approach (i.e
Firefox and Thunderbird) a group of users got together and decided that
they preferrred the suite model so much they were not going to let it
die. So while Mozilla.org has stopped development and update of Mozilla
suite at 1.7.13, SeaMonkey has taken it beyond that. SeaMonkey is up to
   1.0.5 now

Since all 3 products (Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey) are available
for download, then I suggest the best approach is to try them out on
your own. Decide for yourself which you prefer
