Oh, so when you uninstalled, you choose to remove the profile folder
   when warned.

I am 99% sure that you ld have saved yourself the trouble by simply
creating a new profile. File that away for the future. Anyhow, your
passcards are stored in a folder called:

   xxxxxxx.r7u

Note, the x's are a random string. Save a password using the new
profile, to generate the file. It will actually be something like
   1a2b3c4d.r7u. Lets call it that.

With Netscape 8 closed, find your profile folder and remove:

   1a2b3c4d.r7u

Do not delete, just move it out. In the old profile folder, find:

   xxxxxxx.r7u

Actually something like d4c3b2a1.r7u. Copy/paste it into the new profile
folder. Rename it the exact name of the file you just moved out of the
new profile, so it is now:

   1a2b3c4d.r7u

Start Netscape 8 and you should have your passcards restored.
