|    Can't view WMV files that come as attach    |
|    25 Nov 06 08:51:40    |
From: raykosXXX@optonline.net              Double-clicking on the attached file results in the following message:              "The selected file has a scheme that is not recognized by Windows Media       Player, but the Player may still be able to play it. Because the       extension is unknown by the Player, you should be sure the file comes       from a trustworthy source.              "Do you want the player to try to play the file?"              If I click Yes, this message appears: "Windows Media Player cannot play       the file because the specified protocol is not supported."              The odd thing is that if I save the attachment to the hard drive, using       the same file name, and then double-click on the file, it plays perfectly.              WMP9.00.00.2980. In Tools/Options/File Types, the WMV and WMA boxes are       checked.              W2K. Netscape 7.2.              Thanks for your help.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
