I need it. That thing is *nasty!!!* from what I can tell. There       was nothing I could find by searching "hkey", but I got rid of all the .dll       files. After that the computer would still start up okay, and I could go to       websites and not get slowed down severly because Java wasn't starting       up any more, but now when I go to online banking, and probably other       things I haven't found yet, Netscape brings up the message that:              This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.              It has done that every time I've tried to check the bank since I trimmed       things out of Java. Now I guess I'll go get rid of more with the hopes       that has something to do with it, and that I can get rid of enough to       allow me to check the bank but not so much the computer won't       start. Java is the worst problem I've had in years...it is an MSN sort of       thing?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
