|    With JavaScript enabled, Navigator crash    |

From: raykosXXX@optonline.net              In Preferences/Advanced/Scripts&Plugins, if there is a check in the       Enable JavaScript for Navigator box, certain sites cause the following       error message:              "Netscp.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows."              One site that causes this error is http://wor710.com, after I click on       Listen Live. If I clear the check mark, the problem disappears.              With JavaScript enabled, all six items in the "Allow scripts to:" box       are also checked.              The problem stared when I reinstalled Netscape a week or two ago. Maybe       I forgot some update to JavaScript.              I'm using Netscape 7.2. I could simple leave JavaScript unabled, but I       assume I'd be missing something at some sites. Questions:              1. What would I lose?       2. How can I enable JavaScript and not have crashes?       3. How do I determine which version of JS I presently have?                     Thanks,              Ray              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
