   An 8.1.3 is coming out very soon, which should correct that.  Following   
   that, there will be a version 9 which should solve the problem.   
      
   Try reinstalling NS8.1.2.  This time, follow the install very closely.   
   This time when you reach the "Configure your Browser" page, look for   
   Feedback Program. Uncheck the box that is preselected, and continue with   
   the install.   
      
   That should keep Netscape from "phoning home".
