Fist of all, there will shortly be a Netscape 8.1.3 released with       security fixes. It installs into its own folder in Program files, so       there is no conflict at all with 7.2. It should solve your problem with       sites that do not display in NS 7.2's browser.              We are approaching a public beta release of Netscape 9. It is Firefox       based and cross platform. It will also solve the problem of sites that       do not display in 7.2.              7.2 itself will be getting some security updates. The Mail/News       component of 7.2 remains a very servicable client, you could simply       continue to use it for mail and news. Netsdcape is planning on       addressing mail/news needs, but I do not have specifics on that at this       time.              Firefox/Thunderbird remains a good option. If you like the suite       approach, SeaMonkey is probably the best choice. It will pick up your       7.2 profile, and, for many people, it you can just go on as though it       were an updated Netscape suite.              Lee              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
