   You can disable AIM in Netscape 7.2.  SeaMonkey has no connection   
   whatsoever with AOL, and does not have AIM as a component, if that is   
   your primary concern.   
      
   There will be a new Netscape version out soon, Netscape Navigator 9,   
   based on Firefox 2.0.0.3.  There is also of course, Firefox itself.   
      
   For mail Thunderbird is very good.  Both will import certain data from   
   Netscape 7.2 when first installed.  After that the profiles are   
   completely separate.   
      
   Going that that way there is a bit more of a learning curve involved   
   then with SeaMonkey, which has a very Netscape like look and feel.
