   Thanks for the help . . . although I deleted *.msf files, I still get   
   the error msg, and can't bring in new email.  Perhaps the problem is   
   that I have bites and pieces of several NS2 installs all over the place.   
   Is there a way to trash EVERYTHING connected w/ NS2?  Then I could start   
   over clean.
