   When I go Help, About, it identifies itself as Netscape Communicator -   
   not Netscape Messenger.   
      
   If I start the Netscape 4.79 web browser, it also identifies itself as   
   Netscape Communicator.   
      
   I'll try the settings you mentioned in your follow up posts.   
      
   BTW, is it true that messages posted to netscape.* don't allow   
   articles that are cross-posted to groups in other hierarchies?   
      
   If so, who decided that, why, and how is it enforced?   
      
   (and is that why there is relatively little traffic in   
   netscape.public.general?)
