It was Messenger that didn't reach       > release version.       >                     The 'official' release of Navigator 9x was suppossed to be 01 Febuary       2008, it was delayed until 01 March 2008              On that date, AOL officially announced the END of support for all       Netscape browsers              There was never any 'official' release version simply because the       product was never officially launched.              All versions of Netscape 9, 9.0, 9.0.0.1 through 9.0.0.5 were       offically beta releases. 9.0.0.6 which was scheduled to be the 'release'       version was never officially released until after AOL declared the       product to be dead.              Messenger never reached beta stage (an alpha release was made)                            If you have a copy of the product (N9 2.0.0.6) you may wish to check out       the About Navigator and press |
