   James McCaffrey was a well known character actor with plenty of one-off   
   guest appearances on tv series. But he was in the regular cast of Rescue   
   Me. He was one of Tommy Gavin's (Dennis Leary) recurring hallucinations,   
   Jimmy Keefe, who died in the 9/11 attack.   
      
   I can't remember if he shared a scene with other hallucinations, like   
   sandwich-eating Jesus.   
      
   Thanks to his rich voice, he did plenty of voice work for video games,   
   like the Max Payne series.   
      
   Died of myeloma.
