   The Hollywood Reporter and others report the death   
   of Maurice Hines on December 29th 2023,having just   
   turned 80 on the 16th...he died at the Actors Fund   
   Home in Englewood,New Jersey,the northeast/Broadway   
   counterpart of the southern California/film focused   
   Motion Picture Home...place where old actors go to die.   
      
   As with Fayard Nicholas,older brother of Harold,   
   Maurice was the elder,but longer-lived,of a pair   
   of famed black tap-dancing brothers with the late   
   Gregory(1946-2003).
