   he could live on monkey chow   
   quite happily as it contained all the vitamins and minerals a growing primate   
   needs without any of the    
   preprocessed crap.   Wagers were placed and after about 2 weeks the student    
   was admitted to the hospital    
   for several days for being monstrously constipated.   
      
   A 25lb bag of monkey chow was approximately $13 in 1996 and the average   
   college student needed to eat    
   about 4 or 5 pounds daily to maintain their current level of health so in the   
   end it wasn't all that cost effective   
   as it worked out to about $3.25 per day...
