From: radioacti...@gmail.com              Sure appreciate your posting this, Lenona.              I guess I didn't read the reports of the Thursday, January 4th middle-school       rampage in Iowa closely enough; I was under the false impression that       courageous and heroic principal Marburger was not too seriously wounded and       thus on his way to recovery.              So now the "gunkid" has posthumously tallied a body count of two [and also       himself, of course, but it's flat-out outrageous when press accounts include       the shooter in their total, doncha agree?], plus however many wounded       survivors there are.              I'm pretty sure I (more or less) understand why young persons--or for that       matter, us oldsters, and middle-aged folk as well--become suicidal in this       increasingly wretched century. But I cannot fathom what makes them want to       also take acquaintances (       much less strangers!) with them.              BRYAN STYBLE/Florida              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
