   ...looking that up earlier was where I learned that   
   his real name was Charles Osgood Wood III.   
   Brad Ferguson mentioned long ago that Osgood had   
   some old-money forebears...I had wondered but never   
   researched whether he was connected to the publisher   
   James R. Osgood.
