   This was the original T-34, not the "C" I flew in my own training   
   days.  Reciprocating engine, quite old.  There was a "B" version (also   
   reciprocating) and the "C" version was a single-engine turboprop.   
      
   I would guess that any extant T-34 would have to be close to 70 years   
   old.   
      
   Anders, BTW, was the LM Pilot of the crew ... on a mission with no LM.   
   Not that he didn't have other duties, but I've always found that   
   funny.
