   The Canadian Press and other sectors of the Canadian press are   
   reporting the death of J(ames) K(enneth) Irving,born March 20th 1928,   
   on June 21st 2024.   
      
   J.K. was the first-born (but last to die,middle brother Arthur   
   having died last month) son of K.C. Irving,(1899-1992),from whom   
   J.K. inherited control of J.D. Irving Limited,founded by K.C.'s   
   eponymous father (1860-1933).   
   All three of K.C.'s sons followed him in being multibillionaires.
