   I suppose the streetcars in L.A. were gone by the time the   
   baseball team showed up,but weren't they gone from Brooklyn   
   too by then?...in any case,going clear across the country is   
   a dramatic move to avoid being hit by a Brooklyn streetcar.   
   And now L.A. has light rail...
