   Reagan Youth founding member and guitarist Paul Bakija (AKA Paul   
   Cripple) has died from cancer.  Paul formed Reagan Youth with Dave   
   Rubinstein (aka Dave Insurgent) while the two were attending Forest   
   Hills High School. They lasted between 1980 and 1990, and in 1993, Dave   
   took his own life. Paul reformed the band with various other members   
   between 2006 and present day.

   He rose to prominence within the hardcore punk scene of New York during   
   the 1970s as the guitarist and co-founder of the incredible punk group   
   Reagan Youth, who helped to define the distinctive sound of New York   
   hardcore during that period.
