   He showed up for two of the five sessions of this past   
   weekend's Semiannual General Conference,remained seated   
   but was noted as "presiding" by the younger elder "conducting",   
   gave his typical announcement-of-new-temples and urged all   
   to prepare for the Second Coming at the closing session.   
      
   He was wheeled off at the close,as was Jeffrey R. Holland,   
   Acting President of the Twelve and second in line to   
   succeed.Heir apparent/top deputy Dallin H. Oaks   
   (born August 12,1932) appeared healthiest of the   
   First Presidency.
