From: le@main.lekno.ws              The NYTimes and others have revealed that Diane Coleman,       born August 11th 1953 and founder of the activist organization       Not Dead Yet,ceased to be eligible for membership thereof on       November 1st 2024.              She was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at age 6 and       required a wheelchair by age 11,it being inaccurately       predicted that she would never reach adulthood.              Valedictorian of her high school, she earned degrees in       psychology, law, and business administration.              Her advocacy against euthanasia/assisted-suicide laws       stressed the way these practices encouraged pressure on       the disabled to die rather than to live their best lives,       and she was a longtime advocate for enabling independent       living to the extent possible.              -=-=-       The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,       at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
