Alice doesn't live any more.   
      
   It was noted here when Alice Brock of Alice's Restaurant died   
   November 21st...now comes news that Linda Lavin,born October   
   15th 1937,died today (December 29th 2024) from a very recently   
   discovered lung cancer...her television series "Alice" being   
   a spinoff of the feature film Alice Doesn't Live Here Any More.   
   (Deadline.com has a story).   
      
   It may be noted that Ellen Burstyn,the Alice from the film,   
   is still around (and ironically older than the dead Alices).   
   but she should keep an eye out for Rule-of-Three believers.
