   The Wine Spectator and others report the death of   
   Peter M.F. Sichel,born September 12th 1922,on   
   February 24,2025.   
      
   While the Wikipedes blindly biographize him in an   
   article entitled simply "Peter Sichel",he must be   
   distinguished from his kinsman Peter A. Sichel,   
   also born in 1922,who died in 1998.   
      
   Both were involved in the wine business (the   
   ancestral H. Sichel Sohne,inventors of Blue Nun,   
   being based in Germany but the family being   
   Jewish obliging them to flee during the Third   
   Reich) and one promoted a wine produced by   
   the other as "My Cousin's Claret".   
      
   Peter M.F. also worked for the forerunners of   
   the CIA during World War II and that agency   
   itself thereafter...he eventually sold the   
   family wine business.
