   This list has been updated to reflect the death of several players who   
   have died since 11 July 2022, the last time I posted it. Most notably, Art   
   Schallock, who was newly at #1 at that time, died ten days ago.   
      
   Schallock was the 23rd major leaguer to reach age 100, and at 100 years   
   and 315 days, is tenth-oldest former major leaguer of all time.   
      
   The newest #1 OLML, Bill Greason, must live 174 days to become the 24th   
   member of the centenarian club.   
      
   Players with a (*) had fewer than 200 at bats and 50 innings pitched.
