From: ahk@chinet.com              Way way back -- in 1985! -- the Chicago Bears were a championship team.       Legendary defensive tackle Steve McMichael, was part of that team. He's       second in sacks and third in tackles in the team's history. He played       for the Bears from 1981-1993.              He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease in in 2021, a miserable       condition in which he couldn't move his arms or hands, and hadn't been       able to swallow since 2022 and was bedridden. Famous for his motormouth       and wicked sense of humor, he hadn't been able to speak either.              Poor guy.              He died Wednesday 4/23/2025.              https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2025/04/23/bears-steve-mcmich       el-dies-obituary-als-hall-of-fame-defensive-lineman-nfl              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
