From: ahk@chinet.com              James Foley, director of the movie adaptation of the David Mamet play       Glengarry Glen Ross, has died, age 71.              David Mamet adapted his own play for the screen and expanded it. The       Blake character (Alec Baldwin), who comes into the real estate office to       belittle the other salesmen, was created for the movie. That character's       lines are the best remembered and most often quoted.              Foley's direction made this movie the most like of Mamet adaptations,       and it's the one that Mamet himself didn't direct.              https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104348/              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
