   Leonna has never said why she does not excerpt articles and content   
   she presumably wants folks here to read. I assume it has to do with   
   not wanting to infringe on copyrights, but that's just very much just   
   a guess. If that's what it is, though, the criticism and commentary   
   provisions of the Fair Use Doctrine ought to alleviate any of those   
   concerns, I would think.   
      
   I agree, and I've said before, I'm here to read things that are posted   
   *here*, not to be sent off somewhere else and then come back here and   
   discuss. I don't want to explain to people reading alt.obituaries   
   where I agree or disagree with Reddit user KidsStink4397; I want to   
   explain where I agree or disagree with *them*. Based on the fact that   
   these "go read this thing I found" threads Leonna starts almost never   
   produce any substantive discussions--only meta ones like this--I'd say   
   that's what we all want.
