   I was told by someone who lives in Michigan City over the weekend that   
   the prison is being replaced with a massive new prison built in a nearby   
   county. I had no idea that Indiana death row was here. I wonder if it's   
   being moved to the new prison or another prison.   
      
   The prison is on the west side of town in a somewhat prominent location.   
   It doesn't have an enormous fence or wall around the perimeter of the   
   property. The front lawn is quite expansive. It's just west of a   
   residential area.
