   Randomly searching on the name of an old-time friend of my   
   parents,I discover that she died last year:

   For a long time our families were close,but in time we drifted   
   apart...we only learned that Dick(1931-2007) had died some time after   
   the fact.   
   The anchor of the relationship seemed to me to be the   
   dinner group that lasted well over a decade that would choose   
   a country every year and each person (husband and wife separately)   
   would make a dinner of that country's cuisine for everyone before   
   the next round...the men of the 3 couples other than my parents all   
   worked for IBM...but also I remember the Taylors for their old house   
   in Wappingers,named Tangletop since before their time,reached   
   by a spiraling drive,though I have no idea how to find it myself   
   or if it still stands.   
   Among the cars Dick once had there was a Rolls Royce Phantom II.   
   After their daughters moved out they downsized to a more pedestrian home   
   in the Town (which surrounds but is separate from the City) of Poughkeepsie.   
      
   She went to the original Shawnee Mission High School (there are now   
   five of them).   
   A brother-in-law was once Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire.   
      
   The search that brought up her obituary also brought up a page   
   of fastpeoplesearch.com that incorrectly represents her as alive   
   and living in Colorado (while connecting her to family members   
   and former [post-Tangletop] addresses).
