   William Hedgcock Webster,born March 6th 1924,   
   has died,probably on August 8th 2025,according   
   to the Associated Press and others.   
      
   A former United States federal district and   
   circuit judge,director of the Federal Bureau   
   of Investigation and Director of Central   
   Intelligence,he was perhaps the last surviving   
   United States Attorney appointed by President   
   Eisenhower (Eastern District of Missori,   
   1960-61);in his last years he was much   
   vexed by the lawlessness of President Trump.
