   Mavis Discount Tire has for years sold tire sets with the   
   enticement of thereafter rotating them free every 5,000 miles.   
      
   I didn't always bother,but my most recent purchase for the   
   car I got in late 2023 came with this and they rotated them   
   free on the first such interval...it was getting past time   
   for the second,and when I made time for it yesterday I was   
   surprised to find on completion that there was now a charge   
   for the service ($19.99 plus tax).   
      
   The printed invoice form even has tire rotation first on its   
   list of "Free Complimentary Services" above the transaction   
   details.   
      
   Promises broken,business too usual.

   at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
