The annual Whiskey Flat Days festivities are a long standing celebration of   
   the Kern River Valley's Old West heritage. Held in Kernville on President's   
   Day weekend, which falls on Feb. 16 - 19 this year. The theme this year is   
   “Preserving History: Past,
